If Bouquet Agate or Bouquet Plume Agate has a home it is Marfa, Texas. Marfa Bouquet Agate is found on some of the ranches surrounding Marfa. Marfa is located in the hill country of West Texas. West Texas is known for it's fantastic agates and rugged country. The Marfa area like most of Texas is all private land and they do not take trespassing lightly. You must have permission to collect on any properties. Tresapassing has ruined more collecting sites than Construction or development. A condition of my being able to collect these lovely agates was to not name the ranch they are found on. The ranch is currently closed anyway but I have hopes that it will reopen and I can collect these once again. I have a lot still to cut which will keep me busy for some time.
