The Coaldale location was written off in the late 50's as dug out and to not waste your time. I love mother nature and errosion. I tracked it down by old photos and found a stream of the Icicle Plume Agate flowing down the hillside. 2 Plates I found were 4 inches thick and over a foot across laying on the surface. My friend was too tired to come with me so I went alone, man did his eyes pop open. Also at this locale is Plume Calcite Onyx, Petrified Wood and a Banded Rhyolite.
